Proof of Residency Required for Country Group B, C or D
Registration for Country Group B, C or D requires proof of residency at the time of payment and a document (PDF, JPG, or PNG) will have to be uploaded. View the detailed list of countries by country group.
The country provided on the first page of the registration form (Contact Information, Mailing Address) must be the participant's country of residence. All countries are grouped based on the World Bank statistics on gross National Income (GNI) per capita, Atlas method. -
Proof of Student Status Required for the Student Registration Category
An official document from an educational institution must be provided which shows that you are a full-time student of Political Science or a related subject. Student cards which show the year(s) of enrollment may be used. A document (PDF, JPG, or PNG) with the student status will have to be uploaded in order to complete a student registration.
Refund Policy
Registrations cancelled before 19 April 2023 will be refunded 50% of the registration fee paid; cancellations received as of 20 April 2023 and no-shows will not be refunded. All cancellations must be sent in writing to the IPSA Secretariat at wc2023@ipsa.org.
Please note: Membership fees are non-refundable or transferable. New and renewed membership will remain valid even if registration to the World Congress is cancelled.
Substitution Policy
Those people registered and later unable to attend the World Congress may use the fees already paid to send someone in their place. Written notification must be sent to the IPSA Secretariat at wc2023@ipsa.org by 19 April 2023. Substitutes must be in the same registration category and be IPSA members in 2023.
