Parliamentary Support, Parliamentary Development and Legislative Strengthening

Various international organizations as well as parliaments themselves have focused on supporting and developing parliaments and legislatures around the globe. The panel brings together academic research at various stages to discuss good practices for parliamentary support and the challenges that lie ahead. Political science has put little attention on these practices and the panel aims to serve as a starting point for the deeper academic study of parliamentary support.
