Description
Visit the world capital of Malbec wine on this 4-day trip to Mendoza from Buenos Aires.
Emerge yourself in the mountain and wine culture of Mendoza, situated in the foothills of the Andes. It's a journey of breathtaking scenery and senses to taste delicious pairings with the flavor of the local cuisine.
Explore the city of Mendoza on day 2 and on day 3, tour the Mendoza wineries and learn about the famous varietal Malbec and its production.
Itinerary
- Day 1: Transfer from Hotel to AEP Airport in Buenos Aires | Transfer from MDZ Airport in Mendoza to Hotel
- Day 2: Half day Mendoza city tour.
Mendoza’s architectural layout stands out with its groves, irrigation ditch system and clean wide sidewalks. We will visit a city with four centuries of history: the poplar grove, Pedro del Castillo Square, Independency Square, the civic center and Emilio Civit Avenue and General San Martín Park. We will go up Cerro de la Gloria (Gloria hill) to observe the monument devoted to San Martin’s heroic deed. - Day 3: Full day tour of Mendoza wineries.
It is the cradle of the internationally famous Argentinian Malbec for a reason. It shows us at every turn how Mendoza people have succeeded in turning a desert into an oasis: canals, irrigation ditches, computerized drip irrigation, and harmonious combination of old techniques inherited from the Huarpe indigenous people and modern technologies generating crops of the highest quality. Joined by experienced professionals, we will visit different types of wineries: boutique, author, family, industrial and artisan. We will walk among the vineyards, learning about the many elaboration methods. Later, we will taste the best Argentinian wines with the majestic Cordón del Plata mountain range as background. - Day 4: Transfer from Hotel to Mendoza (MDZ) Airport and Transfer from AEP Airport in Buenos Aires to Hotel.

Flight is not included and is to be confirmed separately. Round-trip airfare starts at $274 USD and will be booked with the Aerolineas Argentinas via Condor Travel agency once you book the tour. This information is to be confirmed separately by e-mail. Flight ticket rate is for reference and is subject to change.
You may also book your flight separately provided that your arrival date is 11 July (pre-congress tour) or 20 July (post-congress tour) and departure date is 14 July (pre-congress tour) or 23 July (post-congress tour).

Cancellation Policy
The booking is non-refundable and cannot be changed for any reason. If you cancel or ask for an amendment, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
